Serious Cheeseburgers

1 lb. ground beef (93%)
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. A1 sauce
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 c. minced sweet onion
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper

4 slices american cheese
1 red onion cut into 1/4" thick rings
4 leaves of hearts of romaine lettuce
2 roma tomatoes cut into 1/4" slices
4 onion buns or hawaiian sweet bread buns


*GET YOUR CHARCOAL GOING* (throw some wood chips in if you'd like... smokiness is good for all beef)
1. Mix all of the sauces and spices into a large bowl.

2. Dump your ground beef in the bowl and mix everything together. It will make your hands nice and sloppy and greasy. Man up, sissy. You'll love the outcome.

3. Make 4 patties and put them on a plate. Cover with aluminum foil and take them outside with you. Enjoy a beer and a smoke while you get the charcoal to the perfect glowing red temperature.

4. Put patties directly on the grill rack, about 5 minutes on each side depending on how thick you kept the patties.
